A set of the "Library of Travel" book series, was compiled and edited by Bayard Taylor, an American writer and traveler. This series consists of 6 volumes:

1. SIAM, THE LAND OF THE WHITE ELEPHANT, AS IT WAS AND IS: The content covers the geography and history of Siam, the story of Chao Phraya Wichayen (Constantine Phaulkon), the lives of the Siamese people, and stories about the royal family, especially King Mongkut (Rama IV). It details his journey to observe a total solar eclipse at Wa-kor sub-district with Sir Harry Ord, the British Governor of the Straits Settlements, along with scientists and foreign diplomats on August 18, 1868. It also includes the explorations of Siam and Indochina by the French explorer Alexandre Henri Mouhot, as well as information on the country's natural resources and the religious work of foreign missionary groups.

2. Travels in South Africa: This book recounts the journeys to South Africa by world-famous travelers such as Dr. Livingstone, a Scottish traveler and explorer who spent most of his life exploring the African continent; Robert Moffat, a Scottish explorer and Dr. Livingstone's father-in-law; Charles John Andersson, a Swedish explorer, hunter, trader, and naturalist; and László Magyar, a Hungarian explorer and cartographer.
