"The Boy Travelers, Japan and China" is an adventure and travel diary compiled by Thomas W. Knox, a writer, traveler, journalist, and former officer in the California National Guard during the 19th century. He authored more than 45 books and worked as a correspondent for the New York Herald. After the Civil War, Knox traveled extensively worldwide and passed away in 1896 following a journey back from the Sahara.
This volume is a record of Thomas W. Knox's travels to Japan and China. The content is divided into 31chapters, accompanied by over 300 steel engraving illustrations.
