Hezekiah published 17 books in the Zigzag Journeys Series with best sellers from 1879 to 1895. This is one of the best seller's books that the author intends to present Siam and the countries in the Indian Peninsula to young people to be able to know a country with traditions with different cultures and religions, Hezekiah had never traveled to the Eastern Hemisphere but he was co-operating in writing the book from Anna Leonowens, who used to live and teach the members of the Siamese royal family, and Dr C A Stephen on stories about Sumatra as well as information about Siam and Burma, Laos and Cambodia.

A hardcover book, size 17.5 x 21.5 cm, 320 pages, divided into 18 chapters, covering most of Siam and Java, with 96 copper plate illustrations, published as the 1st edition by Estes and Publishers, Boston in 1888 or 134 years ago. The cover and spine are repaired, and all texts and illustrations are in fair condition. Great for historical references or for collection. The book is in fair condition
