The book "Wings for the Dragon" is authored by Alice Rogers Hager, an American war correspondent, writer, journalist, and military affairs officer. She was the first woman to have the opportunity to fly aboard the B-29 Super Fortress, which was the heavy bomber aircraft of the United States during World War II. Hager also covered aviation news on the battlefield and presented experiences related to air warfare in the Eastern part of the world. In addition to her experiences flying aboard the B-29 Super Fortress, she also included stories about the Flying Tigers, the Hump, and the North Burma campaign.

Hager traveled by plane across every continent except Antarctica, accumulating over half a million air miles.

The book is hardcover, sized 20.5 x 14.5 cm, with 307 pages, and includes black and white illustrations and maps of air operation routes. It was published as a 1st edition by Dodd, Mead and Co., New York, in the year 1945. The book is in good condition.
