หนังสือ The World and its Rulers เป็นหนังสือที่รวบรวมรายชื่อผู้นำประเทศระดับประมุขของประเทศ พระมหากษัตริย์ ประธานาธิบดีและสมาชิกราชวงศ์ที่สำคัญจากทุกประเทศทั่วโลกทีมีอยู่จริงในช่วงปี ค.ศ. 1895 และก่อนหน้านี้ รวบรวม และเรียบเรียงโดย D J Kenny นักหนังสือพิมพ์ชาวอเมริกัน อดีตนักข่าว ชื่อดังแห่ง New York Tribune, Frank Leslie's และอื่นอีกหลายสำนัก โดยได้ลำดับรายชื่อประเทศตามตัวอักษร รายละเอียดประเทศด้านต่างๆ โดยย่อ กว่า 120 ประเทศทั่วโลก พร้อมภาพถ่ายขาวดำของผู้นำประเทศต่างๆ เหล่านั้น ซึ่งแน่นอนว่าต้องรวมถึงประเทศไทย ซึ่งตรงกับรัชสมัยพระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลเจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว เป็นที่น่าสังเกตุว่าขณะนั้น ประเทศสยามมีประชาชนประมาณแค่ 5 ล้านคนเท่านั้น

"The World and its Rulers" was compiled and edited by D J Kenny, an American journalist for New York Tribune, and Frank Leslie. It contains a list of more than 120 countries' Heads of State, Kings, Presidents, and important Royal Families from all countries around the world from 1894 and before in alphabetical order including details of various countries in brief along with black and white photographs of the leaders of those countries, which of course must include Thailand which corresponds to the reign of King Chulalongkorn which at that time Siam population was around 5 million only.

This is a large book, 21 x 27.5 cm., 427 pages, published by A J Conroy & Co, Cincinnati, USA in the year 1894 (1st edition). Acceptable condition, no missing page but the new cover, good for study, references. Sold as seen in the picture.
