In the year 1749 AD, the Ducatus Silesiae region was part of the Habsburg dynasty (Austria) at that time. Maria Theresa was the ruler of the Habsburg dynasty, which included various territories, including the Ducatus Silesiae region. Maria Theresa held the titles of Archduchess of Austria, Queen of Hungary and Bohemia, and other positions.

The map, aged 274 years and measuring 54 cm wide and 47 cm tall, was created by Tobias Mayer, a renowned German astronomer and cartographer. It was printed in the city of Nuremberg, Germany, in the year 1749 AD. This map was likely produced after the Habsburg ruler, Frederick the Great, had taken control of the Ducatus Silesiae."
